About Swan Occupational Therapy
Hello, my name is Heidi Swan
I am an Occupational Therapist based in Greater Victoria, Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
I graduated from the University of Victoria in 2008 with a BSc in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology, and then in 2011 from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT).
After initially starting out working in the hospital setting in 2011, I have since spent the majority of my experience from 2012 onward working in private practice. I established Swan Occupational Therapy in 2023.
I am on the WorkSafeBC and Veterans Affairs contracts, helping injured workers and veterans with their recoveries and return to wellness. I have sincere respect for veterans, police officers, health care workers, first responders and others who contribute meaningfully to the workforce and serve our community. I take the utmost pride in assisting these workers and others through their trauma or injury recovery, and helping them return to function, their lives and work.
